An ideal opportunity for a dynamic and customer focused individual. As the Checkout Supervisor you are directly interacting with the customers, helping them make their shopping experience a successful one; promoting Giant Tiger's image and products. Daily interaction with all the departments in the store allows for the chance to learn the various aspects of the retail business. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, someone who has effective communication and interpersonal skills and is strong at motivating others. You must also possess one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities would include:

• Ensuring a high level of customer service
• Supervising, training, coaching and motivating associates
• Staff scheduling
• Replenishing and merchandising of stock at the checkouts
• Opening and closing the store on a rotating basis (key holder)
