Help Desk Analyst - Ottawa, Ontario

As a Help Desk Analyst in the IS team within Giant Tiger you will play a crucial role of supporting clients within our organization. Your strong customer service skills and computer technical knowledge will enable you to resolve problems and offer technical support and be a productive team player. This is an exciting and unique role that provides the opportunity for you to combine several skill sets in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Job Highlights
- Provide support for the customer requests by logging and tracking IT support issues
- Assisting users with IT related questions and/or problems
- Troubleshoot issues with both IT hardware and software
- Perform remote installations of hardware and software when needed
- Escalate to 2nd level support when necessary
- Update documentation when needed
Job Requirements
- Experience in Microsoft Office XP (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and within a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Availability to work flexible hours in order to provide store support and pager support as required
- Bilingualism ( English and French) is required
- Previous experience in Retail IT systems an asset
